On Sunday afternoon we picked up Hermes from LCAH. We were immediately impressed by his jolly spirit and he seemed to be filled with excitement when he realized that he was going for a ride in the car. Hermes, to our surprise, jumped right into the back of the Pathfinder when prompted to do so. Upon arrival back at the house, Hermes was introduced to his foster siblings – Blue, Cotton, Candy and Cane. Everyone seemed to be excited to see each other and we knew from that point that Hermes was a good foster fit. When we brought Hermes into the house, he was very curious and we walked him around the house to allow him to become familiar and comfortable with his surroundings. He had no issue at all with the hardwood floors and went up and down the stairs like a champ! We took Hermes on a walk last night and are working with him on lead. After our walk, Hermes, like the rest of us, was a little worn out and did what greyhounds do best - lay around - until it was time for bed. At bedtime he found his bed and slept quietly through the night only getting up once to switch beds. He is such a happy boy who gets a lot of happiness out of giving away kisses. His eyes light up when he knows that you’re speaking to him and he has lots of love that he is willing to share!

Those Eyes
This cute ,young boy has the prettiest big eyes and fluffy fur. He is laid back and so sweet and going to be beautiful. I recently adopted a white dog very similar to this one and it took about 6 weeks but his yellow stain is all gone and he is stunning! All that yellow will brush out over a short period of time and he'll shine! He'll make somebody a great companion and playmate. Eda
